Terms and Conditions for Abstract Submission (Free Papers)
Thank you for your interest in submitting an abstract for GESTICON 2025 – 2nd International Obstetrics Conclave by KFOG. Please read the following terms and conditions carefully before submitting your abstract. By submitting an abstract, you agree to the terms outlined below:
1. Eligibility for Submission
- Abstract submissions are open to all registered participants of GESTICON 2025.
- The presenting author must register for the conference and complete the registration process before submitting the abstract.
- Each author may submit multiple abstracts; however, each abstract must be submitted separately.
- The abstract must reflect original work that has not been previously presented at any other national or international conferences.
2. Submission Guidelines
- All abstracts must be submitted through the official GESTICON 2025 conference website by the specified deadline. (www.gesticon2025.com)
- The abstract should be written in English and adhere to the following structure:
- Title: A concise title of no more than 25 words.
- Authors: Full names, qualifications, and institutional affiliations of all authors, with the presenting author’s name underlined.
- Abstract Body: A maximum of 300 words, structured into sections:
- Background/Objective
- Methods
- Results
- Conclusions
- No tables, figures, or images are allowed in the abstract submission.
- Abbreviations must be spelled out at the first mention in the text.
- Abstracts that do not meet the word limit or formatting guidelines may be rejected.
3. Review and Selection Process
- All submitted abstracts will undergo a peer-review process conducted by the GESTICON 2025 Scientific Committee.
- The Scientific Committee reserves the right to accept or reject any abstract based on the quality, relevance, and innovation of the work.
- Abstracts will be selected based on scientific merit, clarity, relevance to the conference themes, and originality.
- Notification of acceptance or rejection will be sent to the presenting author via email by the specified date.
4. Presentation Format
- Selected abstracts will be presented as Oral Presentations during the free paper sessions at the conference.
- The presenting author must be available to present the paper/poster in person on the assigned date and time during the conference.
- Oral presentations should be limited to 8-10 minutes, followed by a brief question and answer session.
- Detailed presentation guidelines will be provided to the selected authors upon acceptance.
5. E-Poster Presentation Guidelines
- Accepted e-posters will be displayed on electronic screens at the conference venue throughout the event.
- During scheduled e-poster viewing sessions, the presenting author must be available to discuss their work and answer questions from conference attendees and judges (if applicable).
- Authors will be notified in advance of the date and time of their e-poster presentation session.
6. E-Poster Design and Specifications
- If your abstract is accepted, you will be invited to present an electronic poster (e-poster) at the conference.
- E-posters must adhere to the following specifications:
- Poster Format: The e-poster must be in PDF format.
- Poster Size: The e-poster should be created in a 16:9 aspect ratio to fit the display screens (recommended size: 1920x1080 pixels).
- File Size: The maximum file size is 10 MB.
- Poster Layout: The poster should include sections such as title, introduction, objectives, methods, results, and conclusions. Visual elements like graphs, charts, and images are encouraged.
- Font Size: Titles should be legible from a distance (minimum 24-point font), and the body text should be at least 16-point font for readability.
- E-posters will be displayed on large digital screens at the venue and on the official conference platform.
- Presenters are responsible for ensuring the e-poster meets the required specifications. Failure to comply with the format may result in rejection of the poster.
7. Copyright and Publication
- By submitting an abstract, the authors certify that the work is original, and they have obtained all necessary permissions for the content included.
- Accepted abstracts will be published in the conference proceedings and may be made available on the GESTICON 2025 website or related publications.
- The authors grant GESTICON 2025 the right to publish, reproduce, and distribute the submitted abstract in all formats.
8. Conflict of Interest
- Authors must disclose any potential conflict of interest or financial relationships related to the work submitted in the abstract.
- Any funding sources or affiliations with commercial organizations that could be perceived as a conflict of interest must be disclosed at the time of submission.
9. Withdrawal and Amendments
- If you need to withdraw your abstract after submission, a formal withdrawal request must be sent via email to the GESTICON 2025 organizing team before the abstract submission deadline.
- After the submission deadline, no further amendments or changes to the abstract will be permitted.
10. Compliance with Ethical Standards
- All research must comply with international and national ethical guidelines, including obtaining necessary approvals from relevant institutional review boards or ethics committees.
- The authors must ensure that the content of their abstract does not infringe on any intellectual property rights or violate any laws.
11. Liability
- The GESTICON 2025 organizing committee is not responsible for any loss or damages incurred by the authors as a result of abstract submission, acceptance, or rejection.
- The presenting author is responsible for ensuring their availability for the presentation and for covering any travel or accommodation costs related to their participation in the conference.
12. Important Dates

- Notification of Acceptance: 10th July 2025
- Conference Dates: 9th & 10th August 2025
13. Prizes
- The first Three papers will be selected for Awards in each category (Oral/Poster)
